Source of collection: Collected using cookies when you add an item to the “backpack” / “cart”, select the “Remember Me” checkmark in the checkout page, and / or rate a “guide” in its corresponding “guide” page.

Disclosure for a business purpose: to allow users to add items to their “backpack”/”cart” and be able to checkout; to allow a faster checkout process for users that opt-in to the “Remember Me” functionality; to prevent a device from rating a “guide” more than once (necessary for accurate ratings and reviews and for spam-protection)

Personal Information collected: cookie information, “checkout information” (including first name, last name, email, grade level, city and state, and whether the user opted into being added to the GuidEd mailing list), and what “guides” the user has rated on the device.
Order Information
Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you, to provide you with order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
